Ms Kog Kng (KK) Tan-Lee is a seasoned Christian counsellor, social work consultant, mental health and relationship coach, curriculum developer, and training specialist with close to 30 years of professional experience across Singapore, China, and the wider Asia region. She holds a Master of Social Work (University of Queensland) and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counseling (Singapore Bible College).
KK is a recipient of national-level awards, including the President’s Commendation Award for SARS, presented in recognition of her dedicated care for patients and their families, and Singapore’s highest national skills accolade, The SkillsFuture Fellowship (2017).
She is extensively trained in a range of evidence-based modalities, including EMDR Trauma-Informed Therapy (Level 2), Choice Theory/Reality Therapy, Satir Counseling, Sandplay and Clay Therapy, and the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. She is also a certified Gottman Seven Principles Educator, Prepare/Enrich and SYMBIS facilitator, DISC Accredited Behavioral Analyst, ACTA-certified trainer, and Certified Performance Leadership Coach. Drawing from these diverse modalities, and her grounding in the Christian Wholeness Framework (CWF), KK integrates professional expertise with a Spirit-led approach to provide holistic care.
Her cross-cultural experience includes six years in East Asia, where she managed community programmes in HIV/AIDS work and provided counselling and social work consultancy to both local and expatriate communities, including Christians, pastors, and missionaries. Partnering with the Holy Spirit, KK has journeyed with individuals and couples through personal, marital, spiritual, mental health, and workplace challenges—witnessing profound healing and transformation.
KK’s clinical and coaching practice spans a wide spectrum of mental health, relational, and workplace well-being issues. She has worked extensively with leaders, helping professionals, frontline staff, and individuals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds to build resilience, address trauma, and strengthen personal and interpersonal functioning.
As a seasoned trainer, KK has designed and delivered more than 23,000 hours of training for volunteers, social service practitioners, healthcare and education professionals, and church communities across Singapore and the region. Her workshops—ranging from small group settings to large audiences of up to 600 participants—are consistently recognised for their relevance, depth, clarity, and engaging facilitation.
Fluent in English and Chinese, with conversational Cantonese and Hokkien, KK conducts counselling, coaching, training, and writing effectively in both languages. She is especially passionate about nurturing personal growth in Christians and caring for God’s servants and the broken-hearted.
